The story…

1974

(full head of black hair)

Meet Jed.

1975 – 1983

When Jed was a child…

Jed would receive special birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, Easter gifts and even Hanukkah gifts (his parents ‘celebrated both’).

The gifts were special for a few reasons:

1. Children’s gifts used to be made with more durable materials.  They were made to last.

2. Before the days of “I probably Amazon-Prime too much stuff for the kids” children only received these sorts of things on special occasions.

Playing with blocks with Grandpa

With three children of his own,

Jed and his AMAZING WIFE, Sarah, are always shopping for gifts for children ages 1 – 8 years old.  Gifts for the nieces, gifts for the nephews, gifts for daycare and school classmates, gifts for children of their family friends, it goes on… and on… and on…

There is a problem with buying gifts these days.

Most gifts available aren’t that special. You probably know the drill…
